Can't believe it, but im blogging from my school's library! "Why so slack?" you might ask. Cause today happens to be my school's Edurace. Which is some crack about educating the younger generations about our soceity. Society defence we call it. My shift don't start till 3.45pm and ends at round 6pm. Doing the math, I shall be home by 7----ON A FRIDAY!
It has been an event-filled week for me here in JC. Can't quite say I've completely settled int JC life yet though. Everything still seems pretty new and alien to me, but with the help of familiar faces, im still balancing it OK. ;)
College Day last Saturday is quite a success .... for me at least and hopefully for everyone involved. I definitely enjoyed the "experience" Mr Leong always says. Drats, but i wish i could have performed at the Esplanande too.... I was told there isn't enough time for our extended performances. Well, perhaps they'll change their minds haha!
Then there's the Annual Sports meet at the Stadium. Falcon wasn't the defending champ this year, aww.
Stayed closely tuned to American Idol Season 8 for the past 2 nights. I vote ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!! However, Kris Allen won. Both stunning in their areas of expertise in terms of stage-presence.
Right! This ends my entry for now.
Cheerio,
Min Yee
i'm the kid on the rise, i'm the heat in Summertime

mad world
Tomorrow's College Day!
TPJC CO string's extension is opening for this event.
The weirdest thing happened today. I played my violin in the Audi, sitting down and the photographer tells my teacher-in-charge im "revealed"/ bao guang.
What the hell! Blame it on his lousy photography skills. heehee. So.. i decided to stand while playing tomorrow. No more awkard sitting positions to endure.
We viewed some shots of us playing on stage, and i must say. It turned out pretty urmm interesting. Ok, there's a sudden deep in the middle where im sitting. Did I just explain everything? Haha, my cello mates are just too tall XD
Okay, gotta prac for tomorrow.
Cheerio!

Stare what Stare
I challenge you
to break your pointless steely gaze
that burns with scorn and rage…
with a smile of loving-kindness.
Only then, do you win any staring contest.
Now, take me seriously, will you?

SYF marathon
SYF finally ended yesterday!
TPJC CO clinged Silver... F**k it!
Yeah, no doubt the journey has been a bitter-sweet harmony, but the product of it all is so average it hurts....just a little bit. After all, it's said and done.
No one can imagine the bitterness felt when you know you've given your all, but somehow it's just not good enough. It's never just good enough. Lesson learnt.
Now Im turning to the massive amount of tutorials and discussion to be done. All in a day's work. Gazillion cheers to Vesak day's holiday, for letting me vatch my breath. Desperately looking for enthusiasts for a game of badminton for the approaching long weekends. Not forgetting my unpractised violin. Darn, thanks to SYF i've completely placed my violin in Cold Storage.
Time to turn the heat up!
Oh and by the way, to the fine people of Big Evil, I support....
American Idol: ADAM LAMBERT!
I found myself beginning to use more smiley faces ”=)” in my blog to avoid being misunderstood. After all, it’s the “Era of the Emoticons”, when words on the printed page through smses and email have to be backed up by a variety of symbols of facial expressions and emotion, so that the tone and mood of your content is made unescapably clear. Unfortunately however, I do not like to use these emoticons in my writing. Finding myself out of place in this impersonal, computerised and high-tech era.
So there you have it. That’s my post for the week. Haha… Not forgetting… =)

topsy turvy
The week flew past with astounding speed. Hmm.... must be the effects from the stockpile of timed-assignments(tests) I had to go through and to describe every single detail in my impressively mundane life would be pretty insane.
SOOOO.... I might as well blog about my CCA since it's the only source of "relaxation" in this very tense week. Let's have a look at my cca schedule shall we:
Mon: 6.00-9.30PM
Tues: 6.00-10PM
Wed: 2.30-9.30PM
Fri: 2.00-7.00PM
Sat: 10.00AM-4.00PM
(Timing fluctuates here and there, but this is roughly it)
This should explain my rangy absence from blogger world here. Which also leaves me with almost ZERO time for tutorials. Drats!
Anyway, life carries on with sectional time revolving round our very own intepretation of the piece Canon in D. Hopefully it'll work out cause trust me, if it doesn't, I won't be alone standing on the range of disappointment.
There's some sort of "cupidie thingy" going around too, I don't know man... insecurity grips me.
And of late, the word "passion" comes to mind.
And I find it kinda funny,
I find it kinda sad,
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had.
I find it hard to tell you,
Cause I find it hard to take.
When people run in circles
It's a very, very..
Mad world
