Another crazy roller-coaster topsy-turvy week it has been. However, CCA today was excepionally fun and cooool~
The combined practise in the morning at 10am was somewhat less fun. Dawn at the fact that the female conductor was minly focusing on being perfect. Which according to me is a good way to polish up the different parts which have sucked for soooo long on every combine practises! Though this also means less or more repeated bars we have to play over and over and over and over again. Phew, that WAS seriously tiring and fluffed up a feather or two.
However, things started to change duing our sectionals after lunch in the classroom. Its always comes with the routine ritual of carrying our huge pieces of "log" to the classroom, rearrange the chairs, tune and yeah.... we have our fair moments of dazing off to la-la land, BUT the fun really began when we started to play Canon in D!
Took out my violin, accompanied by 6 very strong cellists and 2 superbly cool bassists, our very own Canon was born! We spend our time rearranging and playing our parts and had this little project of having our arranger.... may I present..... drumrolls pleaseeeee, GLEN our director-to-be to make the piece a whole lot better.
I liked this quote: "look pass the eyes, and he's a really nice guy" -turtle
Don't ask me why the quote is phrased this way, it's either you know it or you don't. But first, you have to know the person im refering to ;)
I think it's apt for such a description, which also taught me not to believe solely on biased views (which im guilty for.. sometimes... XD )
Just an insider peeve: to the Haydnites and people of Big Evil and everyone nice, hopefully TPJC CO would allow an exclusively solo to the cellists, bassist and violinist a chance to perform at the Esplanade!!!! That will be the coolest thingy ever. That'll definitely be the wickest thing yet!!!!! woohoo!
On a side note, nothing is certain yet, but i can't help keeping this little thought to myself! muahaha!
Come on guys, you should know by now it's has been one of my dreams as a violinist to be able to play at such a, such an awesome venue.
Okay.... cool it Honey Rider, cool it.... don't burst! heeheeheehee
