Let Me Dance a Pixie's Dance

I love to walk out into the gardens after a thorough rainfall. It seems like the rain has washed away all the resentments and loneliness I felt during the day. Engaging only in the act of breathing in the freshness of the grassblades and hearing the toads sing a serenade under the clearly moonlit sky after the clouds has drained themselves light where perhaps the pixies and gnomes come out to play. Its amazing how at that moment it subconciously allows your imagination to let loose to give you a little bliss in your much miserable life. I wish somethings can be different so I won't have to be so miserable and sulky ALL DAY THROUGH!

Who Am I?

We all struggle to find the right path to take in life. It's not always easy to know what that is or where it may lead us. In the end, it's the people in out lives that provide us the balance to help us make it through.

People always seem to try to tell us who we're meant to be, but it's up to us to decide whether or not the label fits. There's a reason why people say we shouldn't expect too much of others. No one wants to see someone they care about end up disappointed.

We instinctively act to protect our own from being hurt and do what we can to make the right choices for the people we love. But the reason we have expectations in the first place is because we want to aim as high as we can, because when you love someone, there's no limit to what you can accomplish. This is the label I've come to accept, and now its my responsibility to earn it.

Been catching up on spring cleaning duties these 2 days. Some like my Dad finds it easy to part with long neglected objects that has lost its value others like me, a pack rat finding hard to let go. It than dawn on me to realise that spring cleaning isn't just about sorting through things and getting rid of clutter. It's more about taking stock of who yo are, and how others see you. It's a chance to redefine yourself, to change expectations and to remember that it's never too late to recapture who you were or to aim for who you want to be.

The SAs had just ended, finally had some spare time to do WHAT I LIKE .. BLOGGING! :P
Changed my skin to a more relaxed setting, just when you thought life is not taxing enough! OMG! I just realised ive got so much to say!!! Let's start with the most recent of tales...

1. SAs ended!!! (its a repetition, i know :D)

2. Had planned to go to Yo Yo Ma's concert with Shenyee and Kevin however... TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT! Darn! Haven't been much of a concert-goer ever since JC started and just when there's a great player coming our way, tickets.. POOFed! Better luck in probably 5 year's time perhaps -.-"

3. CO camp! Though I was not present thorughout the camp, the sectional and Da zhu practises were Deeeee Bomb! ;D

4. Adam Lambert was in town 11-13th March! Wasn't a lucky fan to attend his private concert at Resort World where he was the FIRST performer to be performing there, however, I managed a glimpse along with a swft handhale and autograph from him! The experience... surreal.... first time in my 17 years I've felt so in-awe and starstrucked!

"SCHOOL"

Was almost late for school AGAIN today.... and since i've got a 1.5h break a while ago, i came up with this!

If there is a vile, pernicious,
Wicked and degraded rule,
Tending to debase the vicious,
And corrupt the harmless fool,
If there is a hateful habit
Making man a senseless tool,
With the feelings of a rabbit
And the wisdom of a mule;
It's the rule which inculcates,
It's the habit which dictates
The wrong and sinful practice of going into school.

If there's anything improving
To an erring sinner's state,
Which is useful in removing
All the ills of human fate
If there's any glorious custom
Which our faults can dissipate,
And can casually thrust them
Out of sight and make us great
It's the plan by which we shirk
Half our matutinal work,
The glorious institution of always being late.
